Lori Gardner

Software developer · Thornton, CO

Hello, I'm Lori Gardner.

I spent 11 years at the City of Westminster as a full-stack .NET developer, finishing as Lead Software Engineer. On a small team, each of us owned our applications end to end: requirements, design, development, deployment, troubleshooting, and support.

After a planned career break, I'm back to hands-on development, and I'm deliberately looking for a Software Engineer I or junior role. As a lead, most of my time went to hiring, mentoring, and meetings. I want it back in the code.

I bring more than a typical junior developer's starting point: broad professional experience, comfort working directly with users and business requirements, a habit of learning whatever a project needed, and daily use of AI coding tools with the discipline to test and validate everything they produce.
